'Maybe....'

  It was a quiet day at the Akatsuki base, which was quite odd. Mizuki and Hidan were praying, Deidara and Sasori where on a mission, Kakuzu was counting his money, and Pain and Konan where in Pain's office. Itachi was in the kitchen with Kisame, they were making dinner for the Akatsuki. Suddenly there was a faint screaming, everyone looked around, unaware of where if was coming from. "What the-" Mizuki began, before some fell through the roof and landed on top of her. Sitting on Mizuki's back was a small brown-haired girl, about the age of twelve. Her hair went down to her waist and she was wearing a red short-sleeved shirt that went down to her thighs; she was also wearing blue jeans. There was a small sign of tears in her eyes. Pain came running down stairs and into the living room in his boxers. "What was that?!' He said, spotting the young girl sitting on the unconscious Mizuki. Hidan looked at Pain and nearly gagged. "Pain, get some fucking clothes on before you fucking blind us all!" Pain sweatdropped at Hidan's comment. The young brunette was shaking in fear, she didn't know how she got here and she was scared. Pain walked over to the child stood on one kneeso he was eye level with her. He lifted her chin; the girl nearly screamed when Pain touched her. "Who are you, Child?" Pain asked in a demanding tone. "M-my name is S-Sara M-M-Mustang..." She shuddered. Pain let go of her chin and stood back up. "Kill her." He said, walking back upstairs. "She is no use to us." Kisame looked out from the kitchen, "What happened?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. Hidan grinned and stood up, "Pain in the ass wants us to kill this kid." Sara's eye's widened and she whimpered softly. Kisame walked over to her. "Why should we kill her? Maybe we can put her to work, plus...She's to cute to be killed." Kisame smiled a sharp-toothy grin.
  
  Sara stared at the blue-skinned man, she kept a smile from appearing on her face. Remember what mother said before she died...don't trust anyone. She shook her head and looked around she saw a silver-haired man holding a large scythe in his hand; he looked annoyed. The man then raised his scythe like he was about to bring it down on her. Sara screamed loudly and curled up in a ball, crying and whimpering, "Please don't kill me!!" She cried. the man blinked and put his scythe on his back, "What the hell is her problem?" Then a woman with short Blue hair came running down stairs; unlike man with spiky orange hair She was fully clothed. "What happened? Who screamed?" She asked, looking around. Sara uncurled from her ball and looked at the woman with teary eyes. Without looking away from his money Kakuzu pointed to Sara.

  Konan looked at Sara and smiled solemnly, she walked over to her and knelt down beside her. "Well hello sweety. what are you doing here?" Sara wiped her eyes with her arm. "I-I fell into s-some sort of p-portal and I ended up falling through the r-roof." She sniffed. Konan's goldish eyes sparkled and she picked Sara up into her arms and hugged her tightly "OhmyPainYouaresocute!!" She shrieked spinning in a circle with Sara still in her arms. Sara squealed from Konan's sudden movement. Konan giggled and put her down, petting her head gently "Sorry, I got excited." Sara smiled at her and hugged her tightly. Somehow...Konan reminded Sara of her mother. Maybe....If she stayed near Konan, She might stay here; It is better then Nathalia anyways.
